BOOK REVIEW (for the first time on here :)

A Freewheelin' Time, by Suze Rotolo, is currently residing next to my nikelodeon alarm clock and H.P. #6. I ordered it from the library as a good time passer for when the snow is too jolly and keeps me indoors. AND WOW! It's extremely good. Written by Bob Dylan's girlfriend in the 60s, Suze Rotolo weaves an intricate story between her rocky home life and moving from Queens, New York, to Greenwich Village when she was 17. An artist and poet, Rotolo met Bob Dylan at a various beatnik hangout in the early 60s during the folkie rule, and hit it off they did. Between folk music reviews and ticket stubs, Rotolo tells the story of trying to break free, and returning to wherever home is assumed. Full of pictures and hazy memories, greenwich village is remembered in the best of light, perfect to keep me going as I hungrily devour any information related to 1960s New York and the music scene.
Food For Thought: Why do people resent getting older? Surely they should be happier with getting wiser and gaining privilege, right? Or not? The answer is unknown...
